Tellico Tour for the Cure
The Poker Run and the Car and Bike Show on Saturday, September 20, was a tremendous success. If you were unable to attend, we want to bring you up to speed on what we accomplished. It was a fun event and everyone enjoyed the fantastic weather. We sold 127 poker hands and had 44 Car and Bike Show entries. The collaboration between the three sponsoring clubs, Tellico Riders, Village Vettes, and Tellico Village Vintage Vehicles was unprecedented and made for a great event.
The participation in the Silent Auction exceeded our expectations. With everyone’s help, we were able to raise more than $11,700 for The Cure Starts Now. This money will go a long way to fund the research to find treatments for pediatric brain cancer.
