Members are encouraged to take formal rider education courses to improve individual riding skills. Several venues are available in the area:
- Pellissippi State – Type “motorcycle” in the search block you will see class schedules, cost, and how to register. Click on the class name for a pop-up description.
- Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson – Go to “Learn to Ride” at the top of the home page navigation bar for course descriptions, cost, and who to contact for more info and registration.
- Ride Like a Pro (slow riding skill focus) is out of Atlanta but sometimes offers programs in Knoxville. Contact them to find out when, where (e.g., Smoky Mtn HD), and more.
- Learn to Ride a Can-Am Spyder – Certified instructors share their expertise for you to receive the training fundamentals required to successfully complete the course and obtain your 3-wheel motorcycle endorsement. A Can-Am Spyder will be provided for the duration of the course at no extra cost.
